Uniqueness of the School

The most remarkable feature of LITTLE ROCK is that students form the focus of all its activities. The school environment is decidedly student-friendly and conducive to learning.  The teacher-attitude towards students is one of trust, helpfulness and reasonable firmness. An environment of guided freedom and mutual trust encourages and motivates students to behave and perform better.

LITTLE ROCK is located in the calm and salubrious Priority Highlands campus, an ideal location for an educational institution.  With its excellent educational infrastructure, well-defined ethos, and innovative approach to school education, LITTLE ROCK has become the preferential option for parents who yearn for a meaningful, and comprehensive education for their children.  The name and fame of LITTLE ROCK, which now has spread far and wide, is a clear affirmation of its credentials as a pacesetter in the realm of school education.

1982 is a year of epochal significance as that is the year in which the Little Rock Indian School was founded by Dr. C.T. Abraham, a great visionary.  LRIS was the first school affiliated to a central board in this part of the country.

The sole aim of the Founder was to establish a first-rate school to cater to the needs of the rural and semi-urban population of this area, and make the best possible education at a reasonable cost.  Though the school enjoys an enviable reputation, it still adheres to the same philosophy.

LRIS relies heavily on the human resources that are available. Humane schooling is the central theme of Little Rock.  The child is the focus of the School.  A child-centered school can leave a lasting positive impact on every single child.  The prime motive of LRIS is to ensure that every child is transformed by this positive school climate.

The fundamentals of LRIS are student-centeredness, humane approach in all transactions, commitment to the welfare of children, and an intellectually stimulating ambience which enable good learning and good behavior.
